Fixed-price software projects

You know what each phase costs before it starts. A written scope, a fixed price per phase, and one accountable lead.

What hurts most in a software project isn't the price: it's the scope that drifts, the budget that grows, and nobody answering for the result.

What's included

  • A free 20-minute diagnostic call.
  • A proposal within 1–2 business days with a phased scope, risks, and a fixed price per phase.
  • For larger scopes, a paid technical discovery (scope, risks, architecture, and plan), credited against the project if it goes ahead.
  • One accountable lead by name, with a senior bench in 4 countries behind them.
  • Security built in, work under NDA, and your data on the infrastructure you choose.

How we work

  1. A free 20-minute diagnostic call: what you need, and whether we're the right team for it.
  2. A proposal within 1–2 business days: phased scope, risks, and a fixed price per phase. For larger scopes, a paid technical discovery first, priced on that first call.
  3. Written kickoff: every phase starts with its scope and price signed off.
  4. Delivery in phases: each one ends with something running in production, not a demo, with one accountable lead throughout.

How the fixed price works

In a software development project, each phase has a written scope and a fixed price. That price doesn't change because a task took us longer than planned: that risk is ours, not yours.

That's why we don't sell hours: an hour guarantees you nothing. A result in production does. What does change the price is a change in scope, and that gets agreed up front, in writing, never after the fact.

The paid technical discovery

When the scope is large, quoting blind would be guessing, and guessing is what makes projects fail. So in those cases we start with a paid technical discovery: scope, risks, architecture, and plan, in writing.

Its price is set on the first call. If the project goes ahead, it's credited against the total.

What happens when the scope changes

Scopes change: a requirement shows up, a priority shifts, an integration turns out to be different from what everyone assumed. That's normal.

When it happens, we treat it as what it is: a new or adjusted phase, with its own written scope and fixed price, and you decide whether it goes in now, later, or never. Nothing is billed without your sign-off. Never a surprise at the end.

Who it's for

For companies that need a custom system, a critical integration, or applied AI, and that fear a failed project more than they fear the price. In the US, Europe, Latin America, or Argentina: we work remotely, in English and Spanish, under NDA.

  • A system your operation needs and can't buy off the shelf.
  • Integrations between systems that don't talk to each other: SFTP, XML, APIs, payments.
  • An AI agent put to work on one concrete process, on a measured budget and under human control.
  • A project that already failed once and needs to reach production.
  • Suppliers and contractors to mining companies in San Juan, Argentina, with systems and security requirements to meet.

How we start

Tell us about your project, and Víctor will get back to you within one business day to schedule the 20-minute call. Sofía, our AI advisor, is available 24/7 if you'd like to get a head start now.

What we don't do: sell hours without a scope, rent out developers for someone else to manage, or start without a written scope.

FAQ

How can you give a fixed price without knowing every detail?

We don't. First comes the 20-minute diagnostic call, then a proposal with a phased scope. The price is set per phase, not for the whole project: each phase has a tightly defined, written scope, and that's something we can put a fixed price on. When the scope is large, a paid technical discovery comes first.

What is the paid technical discovery, and why charge for it?

It's the work of defining scope, risks, architecture, and plan for a large project before we put a fixed price on it. We charge for it because it's senior engineering work, and because a plan nobody paid for tends to end up in a drawer. Its price is set on the first call and credited against the project if it goes ahead.

What if I change my mind halfway through?

We talk it through, put it in writing, and, if it warrants it, it becomes a new or adjusted phase with its own fixed price. You decide whether it goes in now, later, or never, and what's already agreed doesn't get more expensive by surprise.

Do you only work with large companies?

No. Our fixed-price projects are built for mid-size and growing companies, in San Juan, Argentina, or anywhere else, that need a system, an integration, or applied AI and want to know up front what each phase costs.
